Gene Kim is Ease’s Chief Financial Officer, directing overall financial planning and capital allocation to support the company’s ongoing expansion. Gene’s expertise in go-to-market strategy and subscription-based metrics lets him work closely with sales,marketing and R&D todevelop effective KPIs for accelerated growth.
Gene’s background spans a decade of work at Bay Area organizations from public software companies to private startups, as well as Big Four accounting experience. Before joining Ease, Gene was Vice President of Finance & Accounting for network security leader SecureAuth, where he helped drive a 40% year-over-year growth rate.
Gene started his career at accounting giant Ernst & Young and has also held leadership roles at Rocket Lawyer and Riverbed Technology, an emerging public software company focused on application performance. Gene has an economics degree from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. He also earned his master’s in accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a Certified Public Accountant.
